Christ, he is whiny, isn't he, [ Dorian sighs, as he offers Elias the bottle of gin. He sets down the tonic water and glasses on a nearby table. When Dorian talks again, he's visibly mocking Daniel, imitating his tone of voice. ]
'I kill someone and suddenly everybody thinks I'm a bad guy! It's not fair that I'm treated so poorly.'
[ Elias finishes a few more words before setting down his pen and reaching to pour them both a drink. He makes a quiet huff of amusement at Dorian's impression. ]
I don't think you understand, he didn't mean to kill me, and it therefore should not be counted against him. I do believe that's how crimes work, no?
